Kick off the holiday season at our 58th Annual Frolic. The Arkansas Country Dancers will lead contra and line dances like the Virginia Reel while music will fill the air by groups such as Lark in the Morning, Sugar on the Floor, fiddler Ricky Russell and friends, the Aeolus Recorder Group and S. Juain Young & Artists United.
Holiday activities will include Springerle ornaments, Kwanzaa crafts, holiday cards, candle dipping, pomander balls, Chinese paper poppers and learning about Jewish traditions, Cider & Gingerbread Cookies. At the press, we’ll print “A Visit from St. Nicholas.” Other demonstrations include cooking plum pudding, textiles, woodworking and blacksmithing.
As always, we’ll have our traditional hot cider and ginger cake that you won’t want to miss!
