We regret to inform you that the 56th Petroushka Ball has been postponed. We will not be hosting the Ball in February 2025. The Society is planning to organize smaller events next year.Since its inception in 1965, the Petroushka Ball has been one of New York's most vibrant and elegant charitable events, attended by over 700 guests representing business, artistic and diplomatic spheres. Past Petroushka Ball events have featured leading soloists of the Metropolitan Opera, the American Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet, Bolshoi Theater, and other prominent companies.
The success of the Petroushka Ball is contingent upon the on-going participation of local and international businesses, as well as RCWS’ patrons.
Support the RCWS’ charitable programs and be a part of the Petroushka Ball legacy by purchasing tickets to the Ball, placing advertisements in Petroushka Ball journal, supplying raffle prizes or products for event gift bags, or by generously making a contribution. RCWS is a 501 c 3 US non-profit organization and all contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Founded in 1926, the RCWS on-going projects include a successful college scholarship program currently sponsoring 129 students (majority are orphans); co-sponsoring the pediatric maxillofacial surgeries for approximately 100 children annually; providing direct assistance to orphanages, pediatric hospitals, rehabilitation centers for children with special needs, schools; and other programs. During 2020-2022 in response to the epidemic, RCWS sponsored 17 pediatric regional hospitals requests towards the equipment and protective gear under the COVID-19 Russia Relief Fund.
100% of donations go directly to support the RCWS charitable programs as our administrative expenses are completely covered through internal sources (RCWS endowment). Please visit our web site for additional information about the RCWS charitable efforts.
Thank you for choosing to support the RCWS!
