Welcome to the 56th Annual Page County Heritage Festival! We’re thrilled to invite you to join us for a fantastic weekend filled with family fun and excitement in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. This is the perfect time of year to be here, especially as the fall foliage is at its peak!As you stroll through the festival grounds, you’ll meet over a hundred talented crafters who are eager to share their skills. Don’t miss the chance to watch demonstrations showcasing wonderful time-honored traditions, like spinning wool into soft yarn, intricate crochet techniques, and various handmade crafts. You’ll also get to see local artisans at work, from oil painting and basket making to creating beautiful pieces of wheel-thrown pottery. Each demonstration offers a special peek into the rich heritage of our amazing region.
And what’s a festival without some delicious food? You’re in for a treat! Local civic organizations will be serving up a mouthwatering array of home-cooked meals that capture the traditional flavors of the area. As you walk around, the tempting aromas of BBQ chicken, tender pulled pork sandwiches, succulent country ham, hearty chicken and dumplings, and sweet funnel cakes will surely make your taste buds dance. There are plenty of other delightful snacks to savor as well!
You’ll find that the entertainment is just as abundant as the food, with a fantastic lineup of live performances happening indoors throughout the weekend. We’ve got ample seating available, so you can kick back, relax, and enjoy the music and shows.
For our younger guests, there’s no shortage of fun activities! Kids can enjoy face painting, hop on a pedal tractor pull, or take a thrilling ride on the barrel train. There’s something exciting for everyone!
Don’t forget to check out our **Steam & Gas Engine Show**, a real highlight of the festival! Watch as skilled operators demonstrate traditional techniques like log sawing, feed grinding, wheat thrashing, hay baling, and corn husking, all powered by fascinating steam and antique tractors.
