About this Event
Join 52 hike Challenge Pennsylvania Chapter for an amazing hike along Slippery Rock Gorge in McConnells Mills State Park. This hike follows the iconic North Country Trail through McConnells Mills State Park. Gorgeous scenery abounds.
Please note:
This is a long and more difficult hike. Please see the alltrails information. We will be doing the trail ONE WAY so approximately 7.5 miles. This hike REQUIRES a shuttle. All participants will need to shuttle hikers in their cars and/or ride with others.
Important Details:
Will we meet at the Kildoo Parking lot https://maps.app.goo.gl/LEqurqcA6VN1wZfBA and shuttle to Hells Hollow where we will begin our hike. We will end at Kildoo parking lot where we will shutlle hikers back to their cars at Hells Hollow.
We WILL NOT hike to Hells Hollow Falls due to time and distance. However if you would like - it's highly recommended to see that waterfall prior to or after our group event.
We will take several short breaks along the trail as well as a longer lunch break.
