51st Annual Irish Music & Dance Festival

Hope you like music because we made sure that our 51st Irish Traditional Music and Dance Festival is packed from top to bottom with live music over three days. FRIDAY, Saturday, SUNDAY October 10,11,12, 2025.
The oldest traditional Irish traditional music festival in the county runs from from October 10-12 at The Irish Center in Philadelphia.

The traditional singers’ night of the festival will be held on FRIDAY October 10th (a change from years past
When we held this on Thursday night) bringing some great singers, including
. On Friday night, there will be a ceili dance with live music in the Ballroom of the Irish Center. John Shield’s will be calling sets and Ceili dances.
On Saturday, the festival kicks off with a dance workshop, children’s activities, music workshops with many of the performers, and live music all day, including performances by The Next Generation, a group of local youngsters who meet monthly to learn and play traditional Irish tunes. There will also be vendors plus food and drink for purchase.

Join us at the Commodore Barry Arts & Culture Center (aka The Philadelphia Irish Center) for 3 days of Irish music, dance and culture. Thursday kicks off with the Singer’s night showcase, Friday is a big Ceili dance and Saturday hosts workshops and music all day leading into a big concert and ending in a fireside session.
