Highlights: The Orange Blossom Classic, founded in 1933 by J.R.E. Lee Jr., established the foundation of HBCU classics and reigned supreme as the postseason's premier HBCU classic event until 1978. After a 43-year hiatus, the OBC returned in 2021 to enhance HBCU exposure and celebrate these institutions' roles in educating future leaders. FAMU recently signed an agreement ensuring their participation through 2030, with the Rattlers returning after last year's absence to face Howard in a rematch of their thrilling 2023 Cricket Celebration Bowl encounter.
