Seasons greetings! 🎄The Fort Sill Patriot Spouses' Club cordially invites you to join us on our 51st Historic Tour of Homes! Join the community in touring some of the historic homes on one of the oldest Army posts in the country.The festivities begin on Saturday, December 7th, 2024, and runs from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The tour of homes begins at the Post Trader's store, located on post in the OPQ, and will be open for hot drinks before and during the tour.
The self-guided tour will allow visitors to glimpse various remarkably well-preserved historical architectural styles and the history associated with each home. Many homes on the tour are over 100 years old and feature classic architectural details such as two-story columns, balconies, wrap-around porches, and entrances. Visitors can take in some of the same views as Fort Sill's most famous historical residents and visitors, including General William Tecumseh Sherman, Major General Patrick Hurley, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Quannah Parker, and Harry S Truman, among others!
