50th Independence Anniversary Celebrations

The Office of the Member for North Bougainville will be hosting the week-long 50th Independence Anniversary Week in Buka, Autonomous Region of Bougainville from Monday September 15th, 2025 to Friday, September 19th, 2025.
The main event, the 50th Independence Day Anniversary will be on Tuesday, September 16th, 2025 will kick-off with Dawn Service for the Flag Raising Ceremony and main actovities following throughout the day. A seperate program on this will be posted.
All constituencies in North Bougainville will also conduct their Flag Raising ceremonies in respect of the 50th Independence Day Anniversary.
Come join us for a week-long celebration which will feature lots of fun and celebrations.
