Our student guitar show is the climax of the year! Mike Cramer, Phil Heywood and Chris Silver will be playing the student made guitars and mandolins from 1:00-4:00. We will be live streaming the performance on Youtube. This year is special because it is the 50th year of the lutherie programs at Minnesota State College Southeast. We are inviting past students and instructors to come 11:00-1:00 and display their handmade instruments and join in an open jam. We will also have guided tours of the stringed instrument facilities till 1:00PM, past instructors will share their stories from the past years, and cake will be served. The cafeteria will be open for lunch and coffee/snacks and the book store will be open for T-shirt sales. The following morning will be the student violin show. If you are considering a career in stringed instrument repair or construction, this is a great day to visit and see the excitement. The show is free and open to everyone!
