In the fall of 1975, Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts opened its doors to the public with an inaugural concert by the “King of the Road” himself, Roger Miller. Now, 50 years later, another icon of Americana music will commemorate that golden anniversary as Alison Krauss & Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas perform during a special concert celebration. Touring behind their critically acclaimed new album Arcadia, Krauss (a twenty-seven-time Grammy winner) and company are at the top of their game with nominations in eight different categories at the 2025 IBMA Bluegrass Music Awards. This is a chance to hear one of the most influential acts in American roots music perform in one of the Southwest’s finest listening rooms. The Center’s intimate Virginia G. Piper Theater is known for its immaculate sound and wide-open sightlines. So, dress in your best golden Americana/Western chic apparel for a red-carpet arrival and exclusive cocktail reception prior to the concert, then stick around for a post-show nightcap to close out the evening in an elegant style that is distinctly Scottsdale!
