Join us for this milestone celebration as the Fort Calgary Garrison marks its 50th Anniversary with a full-blown Highland Military Mess Dinner!
A spectacular evening of tradition, ceremony, fine dining, and entertainment...with a Scottish Accent! Celebrate the legacy of the Fort Calgary Garrison (est. 1975), which has trained over 600+ youth in piping, drumming, highland dancing, ceremonial drill, discipline, leadership, travel, musketry, and public performance.
Raise a glass with members of Calgary’s vibrant Scottish community, along with special guests and dignitaries. Enjoy the pageantry, music, and camaraderie that only a 78th Fraser Highland Mess Dinner can deliver.
Cocktail hour will include a delicious selection of appetizers:
- Charcuterie cones
- Avocado toast
- Tuna tacos
- Duck confit spring rolls
A three course dinner consist of the following:
A salad course to start:
- Wedge Greens Salad with Maple Bacon
The main course is your choice of either:
- Candied Salmon
- 7oz AAA Striploin
- Chicken Supreme
Dessert is a Bourbon Butterscotch pudding
And yes… Haggis will be served* (optional side plate for the adventurous!)
