"Yoga Biomechanics" may sound like a complex topic. But when broken down into its simplest form, this course will teach you all about the mechanics of movement and breath. A 200hr Yoga Teacher Training Course (YTTC) tends to focus on the “What’s and Why’s of Yoga”. In this short 50hr YTTC we focus on the “How’s”, by studying how our body uses muscles, bones, ligaments, organs, cells, etc, to practice Asanas. Also, you will learn how the different techniques of pranayama (breath practice) affects the physiology, nervous system, the energetic body and the emotional body.
In our modern world, many people find comfort in understand the science behind the theory. By linking the ancient Eastern practice of Yoga, with the modern findings of Western biology, this cours will give you a much deeper appreciation of the physiological impact and benefits yoga has on the body.

Eidan has been practicing Yoga for 8 years and has earned his 200hr Ashtanga certification in India and his 300h in Yoga biomechanics in Germany. He is also a lead teacher on the our 200hr Vinyasa course here at Orion.
Having helped people to achieve their 200hr accreditation, Eidan has clear understanding of why learning about the Biomechancis of Yoga is so important in becoming an accomplished yogi and teacher.
