About this Event

500 Days in the Wild a Film Screening Fundraiser in support of the Bruce Trail Conservancy!

Join us for an exciting in-person event on Sunday June 23, 2024, at 2 pm at The Bookshelf Cinema in Guelph. We are thrilled to present a screening of 500 Days in the Wild to raise funds for the Bruce Trail Conservancy (BTC). This event is a fantastic opportunity to support a great cause while enjoying an inspiring and thought-provoking film.

500 Days in the Wild is a captivating feature documentary that captures the six years spent traversing the entire 28,000 kms of the Trans Canada Trail, from coast to coast to coast. Award-winning documentary filmmaker, photographer, writer, and multimedia artist, Dianne Whelan is the only person to complete this epic journey of discovery - hiking, biking, paddling, snowshoeing, and skiing across the country.

By attending this event, you will not only have the chance to watch this incredible film but also contribute to the BTC's important work. The Bruce Trail Conservancy is taking important steps in recognizing the long standing and ongoing connections of Indigenous people to the Niagara Escarpment.
