Assessment Dates; Tuesday 26th March and Thursday 25th April To mark the exciting new direction of The Firs School, Mr David Girvan, Headteacher, who took up the appointment in September is delighted to offer a new Scholarship Programme for children who are currently in Reception or Year 1. This unique opportunity is open to children who are working at or above current age group expectations for their year group.
A message from Mr Girvan:
‘At the Firs School, we offer more than just the National Curriculum. We celebrate all of the children who attend our setting, and we encourage their interests - be that in academics, arts, sports or otherwise - and we are delighted to have regional and national award winners amongst our school body in these fields. We are incredibly proud that, at The Firs, with the support of our families, we help the children to develop a strong moral compass, where they are able to look at the world in a mature way, understanding others and becoming outstanding global citizens.’
