Who: Yoga Teachers!!!

What: Join Chip for a 50 Hour Teacher Tune-Up! Take a deep dive into experiential education and essential skills to expand your abilities in sequencing, alignment, and anatomy for hatha, vinyasa, and yin style classes.

When: July 26-31, 2021

Where: In person at Inhale Miami!!!

Why: This week-long intensive will dive deep into experiential education and essential skills to boost your practice and sharpen your teaching. This program’s hours will count toward Santosha Flow Yoga’s 300 hour program, as well as 50hrs continuing education with the Yoga Alliance!

If you want to be a more effective and powerful teacher, start by boosting the clarity and integrity of your teaching. Whether you are a new teacher looking for new skills and tools, or a seasoned veteran looking to broaden your range, this intensive week will re-inspire your teaching, improve your practice, and definitely level-up your yoga.

Please note: this is not an introductory teacher training. This training is for existing and/or experienced teachers who wish to expand their knowledge and skill set, become more potent and precise with their teaching, revitalize their practice, and reawaken their creativity and love of yoga. Teachers will also have the opportunity to expand their abilities in sequencing, alignment, and anatomy for hatha, vinyasa, and yin style classes.

Teachers, during this week you will learn how to:

increase the clarity and potency of your verbal cues
Sharpen your anatomical observation and pose improvement/refinement skills
Make postural demonstrations count
Get more comfortable with use of physical touch and assists.

Finally, Chip will help you to bring theme and inspiration into your classes through the use of intention, myth and metaphor, and music.

Each day will begin with contemplation, asana, meditation and discussion. Then, we dive deeply into teaching skills through a dynamic mix of theory and experiential learning to refine what you already know, and to help you gain the tools necessary to deepen the potency and expand the range of your teaching. Chip will teach two full spectrum sequences each day to showcase and highlight the day’s skill’s focus and to nourish your body/mind/spirit connection through mindful movement and experiential learning in community.

Expect two strong mixed level yoga practices with Chip each day to further develop your own asana practice. Teachers should have an understanding of pose architecture and the ability to display sequencing and teaching skills in action. After each class, we will have time to debrief and reflect and practice teaching. Additionally, each day will include homework assignments for the next day, as well as further suggestions to integrate over time.

Cost: $800 early bird before July 1, $960 full price after July 1
