Well behaved Women seldom make history’ An MP and Councillor Panel Discussion and Networking Lunch event
During Women’s History Month we will be organising and hosting an event with the University of Manchester Alliance Manchester Business School and The Zebra Partnership supporting 50:50 Parliament #AskHerToStand campaign.
The event will be hosted by 50:50 Parliament Trustee Carol Ann Whitehead facilitated by 50:50 Parliament CEO Lyanne Nicholl. Founder Francis Scott will also be in attendance.

We want to inspire women who have a wealth of life experience and talent to consider taking the plunge into politics.
The panel will include inspirational women who have entered the political arena following on from another career.
There will be one or two male allies also.
This is the audience's chance to ask questions. Hear directly from all these amazing women about their journey and why they think that it is important to have more women at Westminster and on all elected bodies, at a national and local level.
50:50 Parliament’s mission is to build a better democracy, one in which women have equal seats and equal say.
