On November 12, 2015, Our Hagerman, East Patchogue and South country community lost one of its leaders. Rose “Rosie” Ventiere was a major player in volunteer organization, such as Hagerman fire department Ladies Auxillary, Saint Joseph’s the worker church, the patch of Columbiettes #725 and the south country youth soccer league where she was fondly known as and is still remembered as their “matriarch “. November 12 mark‘s 10 years since we lost our beloved Rosie.One of Rose’s, most beloved, and successful fundraisers was the Hagerman fire department Ladies Auxilary annual 50s Dance. We would like to revive this event in her honor. The monies raised from these dances went towards community scholarships, elementary school field trips, and support for our fire department, trainings and drills. The proceeds from this event will go towards similar community groups on Rose and her family’s behalf.
