This October 19th, join Team MSH for our fourth annual 5 to Survive | 5k Run & Memorial Mile Walk, proudly presented by 2024 Community Impact Sponsor Atlantic Packaging! This inspiring event will take place on Saturday, October 19th, 2024, at the beautiful Wannamaker Park in North Charleston. We are thrilled to announce Tanisha Simmons, from the T-Mobile Customer Experience Center, as this year’s Event Chair.
Designed to be family-friendly, fun, empowering, uplifting, and inclusive, the 5 to Survive event celebrates survivors and their supporters, creating a vibrant community dedicated to making a difference. The event kicks off at 9:00 am with the heartfelt Memorial Mile Walk, honoring those affected by domestic violence and showcasing the resilience of our community.
Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking to enjoy a morning walk in support of a worthy cause, this morning is for you! Participants of all ages and abilities come together on the course and on the sidelines to celebrate DV survivors, honor DV victims, and embrace the growing momentum of our powerful support coalition. The 5k Run will challenge and inspire, while the Memorial Mile Walk offers a reflective journey filled with hope and solidarity–each offering meaningful connection to community.
Your participation helps support the MSH mission, funding vital free services for domestic violence survival, recovery, and awareness. This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact in the lives of those in need, while also enjoying a beautiful day outdoors with friends, family, and fellow advocates.
