We’ll have a 5 de Mayo dinner on Thursday May 2nd, pairing 4 courses of Mexican food with 4 traditional Mexican cocktails (sample size alcoholic drinks). If you'll rather pair your food with our house wines, we'll be happy to pair them for you (please let us know at the time of your reservation).First Course:
Chile en Nogada appetizer version. Anaheim chile stuffed with picadillo (ground beef, pork, raisins, and almonds) covered in a walnut sauce.
Pairing: Frozen Mango Margarita
Second Course:
Mole de olla. Rich Mexican beef soup with a little bit of mole flavor.
Pairing: Tequila sunrise
Third Course:
Mixiote. Chicken thigh marinated in abodo sauce, steamed cooked with slices of cactus leaves and potatoes in banana leaves. Served with rice.
Pairing: Paloma
Forth Course:
Empanada de pina y nuez. Flour pockets filled with pineapple and pecans.
Pairing: Homemade rice horchata with Oaxacan rum.
Reservations: 6, 6:30 or 7pm
Price per person $100 (plus tax). Deposit $25 per person. LIMITED SEATING!!!
