This 5 day cleanse is a personally guided complete health reset. Your body will experience all of the benefits of a fast, with complete detox and cellular regeneration - all while taking in quality nutrients.
GUIDED CLEANSE INCLUDES:
- Introduction meeting: January 12th at 7pm (via zoom)
- Daily zoom meetings for each day of the 5 day cleanse (January 18-22nd). All meetings will be at 8am and will be recorded and emailed to participants daily (for future viewing or for those unable to attend the live meeting)
- Menu and recipes for the 5 days of the cleanse
- Detailed grocery list
- Accountability, support and sharing of the current science and research of fasting/cleansing

I wanted to share with you that I very much appreciated this cleanse. I initially did it because I wanted to fix some unhealthy habits I'd accumulated over the past year and it seemed like a good way to break myself of those. I figured any other benefits I experienced would be bonuses. That being said, I also did it knowing I would be way out of my comfort zone and that it would be difficult. But overall it went great for me, even with working part time from home and having a toddler! I surprised myself with how well I stuck to the plan and didn't "cheat" once! The food was surprisingly delicious! But I was really happy about some of the other after-effects I experienced. First of all, I lost 5 pounds! Woohoo! But I also felt a gain in my overall energy level-especially toward the end and afterwards, I felt a real decrease in lethargy that I hadn’t realized was effecting me so much. Also, I just felt better overall. I can’t pinpoint what it was exactly, if it was improved gut health or just decrease in putting “bad stuff” in my body, but I really felt good! Depending on how the next few weeks go for me, I’d like to try and do it again next month :) we’ll see!

I completed the 5 day Fast Mimicking Diet with the support of Dr. Anik who helped me understand the benefits, provided recipes, grocery list, and daily group support. I decided to complete the FMD to ensure that my body/system would be in good health to support recovery from an upcoming surgery. I also completed the FMD to see if I could get past a plateau in weight loss, a place that I have been stuck for a long time. I began following Dr. Anik’s recommendations to eat a specific amount of protein and to eat within a 8-12 hour period of time each day. I began this 4 days before the first day of the FMD and today is day 6 after the last day of the FMD (two weeks total time). I have lost 13 lbs!!! I am very excited and delighted to experience the benefits of the FMD, which seem to be continuing, and plan to do a second one in July. While I may have been successful on my own, I think the education and support from Dr. Anik, the group, and my husband’s support who did this with me, was invaluable.

We are writing to thank you for leading and teaching the Five Day Fasting Mimicking program. We want to report that we feel a lot more energy, better moods, and have lost body weight. Our cravings for sugary and salty snacks have significantly diminished. The experience has motivated us to prepare healthier meals and we even sit down together at the table and enjoy our special meal times, more than ever! Hi Anik,
I wanted to give a few weeks before I did my testimonial. I’ve seen a lot of information lately about fasts and the benefits and was excited to see you offer one that was guided.
The fast itself was challenging but not as hard as one would expect. Because I am still trying to heal my gut from damage caused by dairy and gluten I reacted to the rice crackers as rice is still a challenge for me.
I was interested in doing the fast to help with inflammation and pain from tennis elbow that I’ve had for a year without finding relief. Along with damage to my gut from gluten and dairy. Finally to help with weight gain from early menopause.
The results have been great. I finished the fast on Thursday and then went kayaking from Friday to Sunday with no pain or inflammation in my elbow. I was so surprised. 3 weeks after the fast I have some inflammation I feel but it is reduced by 75%. Weight loss was about 3 to 4 pounds but the most loss I saw was in inches that hasn’t returned. A big change I noticed was in food cravings. Those are less and have not come back.
I plan to do this for 3 months in a row along with you when you do it again on 6 months and will Update you again.

This 5-day nutrition protocol is a highly beneficial reset of dietary habits and food preparation. At two weeks post-cleanse, I still note positive change in mental clarity, energy, daily stamina, mood, and weight loss. The guided meal plan set the stage for preparing tasty, highly nutritious recipes I'd always wanted to try, but didn't have the motivation on my own. Daily morning check-ins via Zoom provided a rationale for the meal plan, with research-based explanations around benefits such as lengthened telomeres and self-produced stem cells, and a time to ask questions. I feel much better than prior to the cleanse, and I plan to make this cleanse a habit.

Hi Dr. Anik,
This was my first time doing the mimic fast and my first time with this strict of an eating plan.
My overall experience was great. By mid week I really started feeling better, more vitality and I felt relaxed. By the end of the week I felt wonderful, I no longer felt sluggish or tired at all, which is a constant battle for me, I even woke up better. I lost over 9 pounds and gained a lot of insight about my health.
My wife and I did the program together and I felt that walking through this with her really encouraged me. I look forward to doing this again soon.

Hi Anik. I just wanted to truly say thank you for you coordination, planning, expertise and insight with regards to the 5 day fast.
I absolutely loved it. It was so difficult and my body suffered, but after day 3 I felt amazing.
My goal first and foremost was to detox from sugar and minimize and eliminate toxins throughout my body. Secondarily, I had about 5-8lbs to lose. Those extra pounds make running and tri training more challenging. On day 4, I’ve lost 5lbs.
