5-A-Side Football Tournament

Calling all football fans and newbies alike! Whether you're a seasoned player or inspired by the Euros, now's your time to shine in the legendary ResLife 5-A-SIDE FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT!!! Just gather your team and show up for a chance to win AMAZON VOUCHERS and ETERNAL GLORY.

Each team must have at least one male and one female on the pitch at all times, so choose your team wisely. If you don't have a full team, put your names down anyway! Solo players can join teams with open slots.

Format:

• Number of Teams: 10
• Max. No. of Players in a Team: 5 (and 1 reserve)
• Match Duration: 15 minutes
• Break Between Matches: 5 minutes
• Total Duration per Match Slot: 20 minutes
• Number of Pitches: 2 (to run two games simultaneously)
• Start Time: 11:00 AM
• End Time: 5:00 PM

• Each team will play 4 matches, ensuring enough playing time while fitting within the 5-hour window.
• Two pitches allow for simultaneous matches, maximizing the use of time.
• Matches are scheduled with a 5-minute break in between for transitions.

When: Saturday, 26 October 2024, 10:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Cancellation Policy

The London School of Economics reserves the right to modify or cancel any event due to unforeseen circumstances. If you cannot attend an event, please let us know within 24 hours before the event day. This frees up the slot for someone on the waiting list.

• No-shows or last-minute cancellations will limit your participation in future FREE event, and access will only be available at the administrator's discretion.
• ResLife events are ONLY for 2024/25 Hall residents.
• If you fail to attend pre-booked sessions, your participation in future sessions will be terminated for the remainder of the term.

Residential Life has undertaken comprehensive risk assessments and we will review these alongside our policies on a regular basis.
