Petra Kuppers is a community performance artist and a disability culture activist. She will read from her fourth poetry collection, (Wayne State University Press, 2024), which investigates true crime and ecopoetry at the level of the soil, and focuses on the cases that became well-known as the Michigan Murders. She teaches at the University of Michigan and is a 2023 Guggenheim Fellow.

Christine Hume’s fifth book is a collection of essays addressing sex offenders and women’s bodies, (Ohio State University Press, 21st Century Essays Series, 2023).Her collaborative text image book with 2023 Guggenheim Photo Fellow, Laura Larson, All the Women I Know, is coming out soonish with Saint Lucy Books. She teaches in the Creative Writing Program at Eastern Michigan University.
