For decades, the camera has been my constant companion—witnessing history unfold, capturing fleeting moments of humanity, and telling stories that might otherwise go unseen.
Southeast Asia is a land of stark contrasts—where beauty and hardship exist side by side, where resilience thrives in the shadows of rapid change. This exhibition is not about the postcard-perfect landscapes or the glossy tourism brochures; it is about the raw, unfiltered realities of life on the streets, in the markets, along the back alleys, and at the margins of society.
Through my lens, I have sought to capture the untold stories—the weathered faces of its people who have seen decades pass, and the quiet dignity of those living on the fringes. These images do not seek to sensationalize but to reveal—to bring light to the grit, the struggle, and the human spirit that defines this part of the world.
Southeast Asia is a place of survival, of tradition clashing with modernity, of dreams built and broken. It is these contrasts that I hope to share with you—moments of vulnerability, resilience, and raw beauty that might otherwise go unnoticed.
Jonathan has worked with BBC, National Geographic Time Magazine and many many more....come and hear the stories
