Join us on Thursday, July 4th from 11am - 2pm for a 4th of July Picnic in celebration of the Broad Brook Grange’s 150th anniversary! Featuring delicious food prepared by the Guilford Country Store, served under a big tent on the BBCC lawn, bingo, strawberry shortcake, yard games and more! The schedule of events for the day is as follows:11AM at the Guilford Center Meeting House: reading of the Declaration of Independence by citizens old and new, a
speech by Grange Master Bobbie Fitch Haumann, and a poem reading by Verandah Porche
11:30AM: Musical procession from the Meeting House to the Broad Brook Community Center
11:30AM - 1:30PM: BBQ at the Broad Brook Community Center prepared by the Guilford Country Store
12PM - 2PM: Bingo & Strawberry Shortcake in the dining room at the Broad Brook Community Center (in the air conditioning)
11:30AM - 2PM: Yard Games at the Guilford Playscape organized by the Guilford Recreation Commission.
Also ongoing music on the porch, a historic flag display in the Meeting House,
family photo sessions with LifeSketch Photography, a Group Art Show and more!
