This event will begin at the Bandshell in Veterans Park. There will be a master gardener and naturalist along for the walk to help point out native plants along the way. Know before you go:
Be sure to wear clothing appropriate for the weather - in hot weather, wear light summer clothing.
If rain is in the forecast, the walk is still expected to happen, but a raincoat or umbrella will make the walk more enjoyable.
Make sure to bring some water, sunscreen, and maybe some bug repellent.
