In the grand tapestry of human expression, language stands as our most vibrant hue. From the earliest whispers of communication to the eloquence of modern tongues, it's a journey marked by exploration, discovery, and the ceaseless quest for understanding.In an attempt to make our understanding and pursuit of linguistic craftsmanship more enjoyable, MSCLC is back with its annual signature event once again after many years in-person. Welcome to '4th Intra Language Fiesta'. Board our ship in an adventure to explore the vast unknown by challenging yourself in a ceaseless pursuit of knowledge.
đP.S.- This is an intraschool event organized solely for the participation and augmentation of the current students of Monipur High School and College. No students of other institutions are eligible for participation.
This year, the event will be organized by new and old competitive yet fun segments along with insightful sessions, games, quizzes and so much more. With 10 segments, on-spot games, and many awards, this event will be the one quenching the students' year-long thirst for fun while educating themselves about the unknown.

English Olympiad (J,S) (I):
In this individual written segment, participants will have to answer language based questions to challenge themselves to survey their depth of language's history, syntax, vocabulary, literature, general knowledge of languages and overall command over the English language. So, get ready to test your Anglophilic core!!!
Instant Story Writing (J,S) (I):
In this written Individual segment, participants will be given a starting part of an incomplete story. Competing against the tide of time, participants will have to complete the story with their own fiction in a restricted time limit. The story can be of any genre. So, let your imagination take over for a short duration and let it fill the blank pages to the last sentence!!!
Rearrange & Crosswords (O) (I):
This will also be a written Individual segment. Within a 20 minutes of duration, the participants will have to solve the crosswords puzzles (for which there will be hint) and rearrange the scattered letters into a meaningful word. May the best vocabularist wins!!!
Bash the topic (J,S) (I):
In this written solo segment, the participants will have to engage in a battle of wits. A pair of polar opposite topics will be provided to the participants, and each participant will have to bash and decimate a topic while praising the other. This shall serve as a way to assess how knowledgeable the participants are, how much they know and how convincing they can be.
Digibook cover design (O) (I):
In this submission-based individual segment, participants will have to design a digital book cover based on the provided topics. There are no size limits for the cover and any platform (Such as Canva, Photoshop) is permissible. On the event day, the best posters will be put on display. Let your creativity shine through your way of imagining a post-apocalyptic or a magical world in a single picture!!!

Review writing (O) (I):
In this submission-based segment, participants can write a well review on any movies, series, anime or drama they want. The review should be written on in the English language and should be limited to a size of 400 words.

Mobile Photography (O) (I):
In this submission-based solo segment, participants will have to send their best captured moments paired with a caption that will mirror the picture. Without a caption, the pictures will not be counted. The best pictures along with a caption will be put on display on the event day.

Instant Speech (O) (I):
This will be a oratory segment of 2 rounds. Top 5 qualifying on the first round will be able to participate in the final round. The Rounds are as follows:
R-1 (Extempore Speech): The participants will be provided with a topic by the judges 3 minutes prior to their speech. Using these 3 minutes for their preparation, theyâll have to deliver a speech based on the given topic in a restricted time limit of 3 minutes.
R-2 (Turn The Coat): In this final round, the participants will be provided with an impartial topic 5 minutes prior to their speech. Afterwards, they will have to explain their view on this impartial topic within a 5 minutes time of restriction. They will have to speak in favor of the topic for half the time and against the topic for the remaining half time.
Evaluation will be based on factors such as speech delivery, content awareness, body language etc.
Team Based Quiz (O) (T):
In this signature team âbased segment of two rounds, the participants can form a team up to 3 members with a minimum of 2 members. The questions will on various topics, covering the ocean of knowledge. From literature, science, sports to current affairs, anything can be included and will push the participants in a pursuit of knowledge. A best handful teams from the first round will be qualify for the final buzzer round. The Rounds are as follows:
R-1 (Preliminary round): This will be a written round and each team will have to solve the given questions within a short duration. The teams scoring the best will be respectively chosen and will qualify for the final buzzer round.
R-2 (Buzzer round): The best teams will battle each other for the championship in a thrilling, nerve breaking buzzer round with quizzes spanning across numerous topic.
So, get ready with your friends and board the ship to put your quizzing sense into the test!!!
Multimedia Presentation (O) (T):
In this team based segments, participants will have to bring their prepared slides based on the given topics a week prior to the event and present them in front of the judges. Participants can form a team of minimum 2 and maximum of 3 members. They can also bring their own devices and tools (laptops, cellphones, pointers, conversation cable etc.) for the presentation. The members of the teams will have to control the slide navigations themselves. The maximum amount of slides will be allowed is 10. Presentations are 5 minutes long followed by a 2 minutes Q&A sessions with the judges. Topics will be provided soon.
On-spot games: There will also be binge quizzes, Sudoko and more on the event day. The quizzes will cover a broad range of shows, TV series, comics, books, video games and all other fandoms. Participate in this mini games to win something special!!!
All winners will receive crests and certificates and all participants will receive participation certificates.
