This is invitational event only for like minded clubs, providing a safe friendly beginner level competition, where effort and attitude should trump petty NGB politics, and the best competitor should win. Going by the old ITF/UKTA rules of 2005/2009 we look forward to having a small retro competition, where it is more about the best person winning on the day, and not making shapes or altering the rules from the encyclopedia to give certain clubs an advantage.
There will be no charges for
Parents wanting to watch their children.
Coaches helping children and the competition at the ringside.
Clubs not with in our Federation.
Categories will not be condensed, we will keep competitors in the correct colour belt categories, along with height and weight, we are not going to cheat or endanger competitors to save a few pounds on medals.
Competitors will receive certificates as well as medals, all competitors will receive a participation certificate as a memento.
All registered umpires will also receive a participation certificate as a memento, and a small gift, just like the old days.
