The Roselle Sons Of The American Legion will be hosting our 4th Annual Smoking on Maple BBQ competition/fundraiser on Sat June 17th at the Roselle American Legion located at 344 E. Maple in Roselle. The event will take place outside in the back parking lot .Teams will cook in two categories - Chicken and Ribs. Trophies will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place winners in these two categories and ribbons will be awarded for 3rd place
The contest is open to anyone who wishes to cook for $45.00 a team. Applications are available at the American Legion post bar or email BBQ Bill at [email protected] or text/call at 630-440-4895.

The Peoples Choice category will be returning this year as well. Public is invited to come out an sample BBQ from participating teams by purchasing a tasting wristband and a scorecard ($10 donation) and vote for their favorites! A trophy will be awarded to our crowd favorite.
Stewart’s Cheesecakes in Bloomingdale will also be there selling their delicious cheesecake slices.
All proceeds go to our veterans programs!
