About this Event
An evening dedicated to honoring the legacy of President Abraham Lincoln and recognizing leadership, service, and civic engagement throughout Hudson County.
Now in its fourth year, the Lincoln Dinner continues a tradition originally established by the Hoboken Republican Party and has been proudly elevated to a countywide event. This year’s dinner is presented under the leadership of Chairman Jose Arango and Vice Chair Joseph E. Branco, reflecting the continued growth and strengthening of the Republican Party across Hudson County.
We are especially proud to honor Steve Firestone, Hoboken’s newest Republican Councilman, who will serve as the Honorary Chairman of the Hoboken Republican Party. Councilman Firestone’s commitment to public service, accountability, and community engagement reflects the principles that Abraham Lincoln championed and that continue to guide Republican leadership at both the local and county levels.
In addition, we are honored to recognize two outstanding community leaders and philanthropists whose professional excellence and dedication to service have made a meaningful impact in Hoboken and beyond:
- John Lawton, of Lawton Funeral Parlor, recognized for decades of compassionate service to Hoboken families and his enduring commitment to the community.
- Hannah Cunningham-Valente, of DeCotiis, Fitzpatrick, Cole & Giblin LLP, recently appointed Assistant Corporation Counsel to Hoboken Mayor Emily Jabbour, honored for her professionalism, leadership, and dedication to public service.
The Lincoln Dinner is a long-standing Republican tradition that brings together elected officials, party leaders, community members, and supporters for an evening of reflection, fellowship, and celebration.
This year’s event is made possible through the collaborative efforts of Republican leaders and community partners across Hudson County, including Vincent Cuseglio, Bayonne Republican Chairman; Kathy DeRose, Vice Chair of Events; Joshua Sotomayor-Einstein, Vice Chair of Communications; and Sonia Schulman, Hudson County Treasurer and State Committeewoman. We are also grateful for the generous donation of a celebratory cake by Mauro Castano, adding a special Hoboken touch to the evening.
Serving as Master of Ceremonies for the evening will be Eric DeLauro, a Frank Sinatra competition winner and accomplished performer, who will guide the program and entertain guests with classic Frank Sinatra selections throughout the night.
We look forward to seeing you there.
