Join us for our 4th Annual Dinner, Donations and Christmas Celebrations event! I’m excited to announce that Kelsey’s Original Roadhouse (Bayfield Location) will be hosting us. There will be lots of space for the donations and Secret Santa gifts. As you may know, the Barrie Food Bank no longer facilitates the Christmas Sponsorship program and this will allow us to assist the community while also enjoying dinner and a festive gift exchange. I will provide some great PRIZES…and they will be……wrapped! The results are in and 80% of the respondents prefer the element of surprise (oooh, how far should I take this, haha). If you’ve expressed interest in also donating a prize, please send me a PM! Details:
Each participant will bring the following with them to Kesley’s (Bayfield) at 6pm on Wed., Dec. 4th:
1) A WRAPPED gift for Secret Santa (approx. $20 – it can be festive, funny, cozy, etc!)
2) A new, unwrapped donation(s) for one (or both) of these organizations:
a) Toy Drive - (some ideas: toys, gift cards for the teens, games for kids/teenagers) or
b) Hospice Simcoe - Children and Teen Bereavement Program (some ideas: Slime, fidget toys including Nee Doh, infinity cubes and spinners. Art canvas, Play Doh, Flow Pots, paint, brushes, markers, pencil crayons, mason jars – 250ml-500ml, memory boxes, clear glue, stickers, etc., Indigo Gift Cards for books on grief and bereavement.
Please RSVP by Nov. 27th (I have to provide final numbers to the restaurant).
