Downtown Daytona Beach Events/Al Smith Productions, in partnership with the Riverfront Arts District, is excited to announce that the 4th Annual Daytona Beach Arts Fest is scheduled for Saturday, April 12, from 9 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday, April 13, from 10 AM to 4 PM. Presented and sponsored by Brown & Brown, this two-day spring event supports the Riverfront Arts District and serves as the grand finale of the Arts VoCo Season of the Arts. It promises an array of activities for everyone, including fun experiences, immersive art, original live music, delicious food, and more!The Daytona Beach Arts Fest is free and open to the public.

Long-time Daytona Beach event promoter Al Smith of Al Smith Productions/Downtown Daytona Beach Events and Theresa Lieberman of the Riverfront Arts District are co-producing the event. Both have expressed excitement about returning this unique two-day art and immersive experience to Downtown Daytona Beach.
Beach Street will be closed to traffic from Orange Avenue to Bay Street to accommodate the Artisan Marketplace, offering visitors the chance to enjoy over 150 juried and non-juried arts and crafts exhibits. The Artisan Marketplace will showcase the talents of artists and craftsmen, from emerging to seasoned local artisans and craftworkers. Fifty fine art juried contenders will compete for the Best of Show award and $4,000 in prize money. The award ceremony will take place on Sunday, April 13, at 2:00 PM at the North Block Stage. Daytona Beach Arts Fest is truly an immersive art experience, as participants can vote for their favorite juried artist, who will win a cash prize. Attendees are encouraged to vote for their favorites!
Throughout the Daytona Beach Arts Fest weekend, both artists and attendees can enjoy live music provided by The Local Mix, a Street Art Showdown chalk art competition, a kids’ zone hosted by Arthaus, a Visual Arts Student Art Exhibit from Volusia County Schools, a Sunset Concert featuring a tribute to Tom Petty by the popular band Are Friends Electric, along with special guests Beartoe, Dyer Davis and Dan Walters, food trucks, a food court at Beach Street and Magnolia Avenue, beverage centers, the Riverfront Shops, restaurants, galleries, and new this year: The Book End by Novel Tea Book Shop — a lively, family-friendly book fair at the Daytona Beach Arts Festival! Enjoy book signings and live readings, and meet local authors. Browse new titles, used books from Abraxas Books, and literary merchandise. Sip hot or iced teas in a cozy lounge for readers of all ages.

Street Art Showdown:
In addition to the Artisan Marketplace, festival attendees can participate in or watch local artists compete in the two-day Street Art Showdown. Artists will create live chalk art from scratch to transform the streets of Downtown Daytona Beach, showcasing various styles and techniques, from photorealistic portraits to abstract designs, using pastels on pavement to craft their masterpieces. Judges' awards and viewers' choice prizes will be presented to the winning artists on Sunday, April 13, at 2:00 PM at the North Block Stage. The Street Art Showdown is presented by ArtHaus.
Volusia County Visual Arts Student Art Exhibit
Talented young artists are entering this juried student art show, which offers awards for first, second, and third place. Visit the exhibit on the 2nd floor of the Starry Night Gallery at 230 S. Beach Street. Judges will present prizes to the winning artists at the award ceremony on Sunday, April 13, at 2:00 PM.
Saturday Night Sunset Concert:
The Sunset Concert is a ticketed event that will take place on Saturday, April 12, at 7:15 PM in the Riverfront Esplanade, located across from the Brown & Brown Insurance building at 355 N. Beach Street in Downtown Daytona Beach. The Sunset Concert Series, produced by Al Smith Productions in conjunction with the Daytona Beach Arts Fest and in partnership with the Riverfront Esplanade, will feature FEVER, a tribute to Tom Petty, performed by the popular band Are Friends Electric with special guests Beartoe, Dyer Davis, and Dan Walters. Additionally, Andrea Elmer Mix will perform a tribute to Stevie Nicks as the concert’s opening act.
The Sunset Concert is an outdoor venue that overlooks the Intracoastal. It is situated on the beautifully landscaped lawn of the Riverfront Esplanade, providing a breathtaking view of the Intracoastal. The venue features ample free parking, well-maintained bathrooms, and a full bar.
The FEVER Sunset Concert is presented by Al Smith Productions and the Riverfront Esplanade, and sponsored by Brown & Brown, the Downtown Development Authority, and the City of Daytona Beach.
