This year, on Friday, October 18, 2024, the Covenant Kids Gala will be held at Horizons Conference Center. This black-tie experience will feature a spectacular live showband staged next to an illuminated dance floor, a unique four-course meal, festivities, and fellowship all while raising money to support the highest level of care for our region’s littlest patients.
About this Special Event
For decades, families in the Great Lakes Bay Region and beyond have trusted Covenant HealthCare to provide extraordinary newborn and pediatric care. Among its many services, Covenant Children’s Hospital is home to a Regional Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experienced in providing high quality care to critically ill infant, child, and adolescent patients from across Michigan’s lower peninsula.
The 4th Annual Covenant Kids Gala will support the purchase of a voice-activated ultrasound machine. This system will be used in the Pediatric ICU to diagnosis and help guide the medical treatment of critically ill children. It uses verbal commands to improve efficiency, sterility, and focus during exams while improving patient comfort and ease. The voice assist can support saving images, freezing a visual for further assessment, and adjusting settings without additional movement to press buttons or turn knobs during the ultrasound.
