About this Event
Our 4th annual Brews, Blues & BBQ is an afternoon of live blues music enjoyed with a beer and capped off by an old fashioned BBQ cookoff - all at Hugger Mugger Brewing in downtown Sanford. Doors open at noon. Music runs 3-9pm, BBQ plates are served 5-7pm.
BBQ plates include 2-3oz samples from ten BBQ competitors with cole slaw and yeast roll or cornbread. That's a lotta BBQ so bring your appetite! Also, ticket holders are the only ones who can vote for the People's Choice Award - you will receive your ballots and more information at check in on the day of the event (April 12th).
Our bands include purveyors of blues and classic rock Big Bump & the Stun Gunz. Pat & the Kountry Boys features the original country boy, Patrick Harrison. Headlining is Cory Luetjen & the Traveling Blues Band. Cory's been around the blues scene in North Carolina for a while now and always brings a high energy performance.
The venue is Hugger Mugger Brewing, a sprawling brewery in downtown Sanford, NC with 18 beers on draft and a huge beer hall and bier garden to enjoy them in.
