The main pace group is planning a finish time of 2:30. This means the pace while running will vary between 9 and 10 minutes per mile. The extra time to get to a finish of 2:30 will include walking up some of the steeper inclines, a water only aid station about halfway that is passed twice, a bathroom stop around mile 5.5 as needed, and of course a couple pictures along the way.Faster/slower runners welcome to join and connect with others of a similar pace, but take note that the water only aid station will be closed by 8:45 or 9:00 am.

Join me for some Labor Day weekend miles on San Diego's most difficult urban mixed-surface half marathon!
TL;DR: Free self-supported half marathon group run. Meet at the intersection of Jacaranda and Joe Schloss Way in Morley Field.
Distance: 13.11 miles
Elevation gain: approximately 1100 feet
Surface: Urban trails (35-40% dirt/grass) and pavement
Unlike San Diego's flat and easy 7 bridges urban hike, this course goes over, AND UNDER, all 7 bridges: Park Blvd, Cabrillo, Quince, First Ave, Spruce St Suspension, Vermont, Georgia.
One water only aid station about halfway, plus bathrooms and water fountains near the start/finish and near mile 5.5 as the course winds through Balboa park.
Those that want to run faster/slower than the group can view the route and download a GPX (or KML, or whatever) file here: https://www.plotaroute.com/route/1990449
Not recommended for bikes due to the 100+ stairs on course.
