This is a free recreational 4K Paddle Race around Barker's Island open to all human-powered water crafts and all ages. Registration is LIMITED, we will stop accepting responses once we reach our registration cap.

This is a sponsored event in collaboration with the Lake Superior Day Celebration that follows hosted by the Lake Superior National Estuarine Research & Reserve. All participants must check-in at designated CHECK-IN Time, 8:30am-9:30am on Race Day, Safety Meeting at 9:40am. Check-in is mandatory to participate. Race Classes will be determined based on registration. On-water START-TIME is 10am - weather will determine course. All participants will receive a custom Race Bib & a Raffle Ticket to be entered in their Raffle item of choice during the Celebration Festivities that follow. Awards will be announced 1 hr following last racer to finish course. Must be present to accept award, Awards for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in each Category.
