The Roadrunners are excited to bring back a Bakersfield tradition in the 49th Annual CSUB Athletics Spring Barbeque, slated for Thursday, May 2. The annual Spring BBQ is one of the CSUB Athletics' biggest events of the year and serves as a great way for the `Runners to enjoy an evening with the Kern County community while also raising money for the Roadrunner Scholarship Fund.Tickets can be purchased online at GoRunners.com/BBQ or by calling 661-654-BLUE or 661-654-GOLD. Guests will be able to choose from the following dinner entrée options: New York Steak, Teriyaki Chicken, or Vegetarian Dish.
Local band MENTO BURU will provide hours of terrific live music to entertain guests during dinner. The group has been voted "Best Bakersfield Band" multiple times in The Bakersfield Californian Readers Poll. As one of the premiere social events of the year, the Spring BBQ will also feature a great selection of beer and wine.
