48th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Breakfast

First of all, we want to thank you for all of your support throughout the years as Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. continues to assist our young people get the educational opportunities they deserve through access to scholarships, mentoring and future career preparation.

True to our motto of developing leaders, promoting brotherhood and academic excellence, we will be celebrating our 48th annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Breakfast in-person at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Convention Center, 5701 Marinelli Road, North Bethesda, MD at 10:00 am.

Our theme for 2025 , “From Ballots to Books, The Fight to Safeguard Black History and Protect Our Civil Rights” addresses the challenging times we are facing as we battle to maintain black history within our learning institutions, not only within the state of Maryland but nationwide. Our annual event is sponsored by the Alpha Scholarship and Charitable Foundation (“ASCF”) , a non -profit 501(c)(3) organization and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Iota Upsilon Lambda chapter. Our MLK Breakfast continues to serve as one of the county's signature programs honoring Dr. King’s legacy.

On this platform, there are several scholarship support options ranging from individual seat tickets to Community Level, Black Level, Old Gold Level, and Bronze level scholarship opportunities.
