Coming Sept. 21-22 — the 48th Annual Honolulu Intertribal Powwow at Bishop Museum!Bishop Museum welcomes the return of the Honolulu Intertribal Powwow back to its Great Lawn. The Honolulu Intertribal Powwow, presented by the Hoʻopili Tribal Council (formerly known as the Oahu Intertribal Council), brings together American Indian, Alaska Native, and First Nations people.
Each year, hundreds of people to celebrate Native American heritages, pass on Indigenous traditions, build communities, and learn about Native American cultural diversity.
Everyone is welcome! Attending a powwow is a great way to learn more about Native American culture and tribal traditions. They’re social events, a time to see old friends and make new ones. Come join us in this celebration of community and culture through music, dance, and food!

Please note that this is a two-day festival. To attend both days, you must purchase admission for both Saturday and Sunday — just $5 per person, per day! Bishop Museum Members are free with pre-registration and membership ID.
