Please join the Sacred Harp Singing Communities of Vermont in Burlington, VT on the first Sunday of October and the Saturday before for two days of singing from the Sacred Harp (1991 and 2025 Denson editions). Registration begins at 9:30 am, singing at 10.All are welcome, no experience required. 1991 books and 2025 supplement packets for 1991 books will be available for loan.
Dinner on the Grounds will be served at noon both days.
A Friday evening singing school will be held at a location TBD, with potentially a non-Denson book sing to follow.
Due to the cost and scarcity of paid accommodation during peak foliage season in Vermont, the Convention housing form is already accepting responses. (However, if the singing is not enough, the opportunity to view peak foliage is another great reason to join us!) https://forms.gle/DPS8SfKFyrxotW2X9
We encourage those with a strong interest in attending the Convention and the preference and financial means to do so to book refundable hotel accommodation as soon as possible.
We will use the housing form to attempt to balance demand for with supply of singer and singer-adjacent-provided accommodation continually up to the start of the convention. Please email [email protected] with any questions or special requests.
