Please join the Sacred Harp Singing Communities of Vermont on October 4th and 5th for two days of singing from the Sacred Harp (recently released 2025 Denson edition). 2025 books will be able for loan and sale. Book sales and registration begins at 9:00 am both days, singing at 10 am.All are welcome, no experience required.
Dinner on the Grounds (potluck lunch) will be served at noon both days.
A Friday evening singing school on singing fundamentals, traditions and etiquette will be held at the BCA Center Good Room across from the main venue at 135 Church St, from 6-8 PM. Book sales will also be available there from 5:20 and doors will open at 5:30.
Please bring a photo of a negative COVID test that you have taken within 24 the preceding hours for entry to the singing school and the convention sessions. Please try to test before arriving to the event. A limited number of tests may be available at the door.
A Saturday evening social will be held from 5 PM-10 PM at a location that will be announced at the Convention.
Parking: Metered parking is available on the surrounding streets and in three municipal garages: Marketplace Garage (196 Bank St and 47 S Winooski Ave), College St Garage (60 College St) and Cherry St Garage (35-55 Cherry St). Parking is free on Sundays and some garages have two hours free. Burlington uses the ParkMobile app for parking payment.
