The Seattle International Comedy Competition comes to Green River College for the first week of Preliminaries. The show features 16 new comedians from around North America competing for just five chances to advance to the Semifinals. The rest go home. Since Green River hosts both weeks of the Preliminaries, it gives you a chance to see the best in emerging comedy talent.
TV Clean Night
The Seattle International Comedy will have 16 comedians competing for a chance to advance to the Semifinals. To make the evening more interesting, it’s TV clean night. That brings to mind that classic George Carlin bit.
About the Competition
This event truly is the “Last Comic Standing”. The Competition attracts comedians from across North America and beyond. This event is one of the most prestigious comedy events in North America, launching the careers of people like Mitch Hedberg, Gabriel Rutledge and the not TV-clean Joey Diaz. It is an outrageously funny evening, where you will see the comedy stars of tomorrow competing for their chance at fame and fortune. Hundreds of comedians audition each year to compete, but only 32 comedians are chosen.
