45th Sapphire Chapter Anniversary

Dear Theta Kappa and Mu Delta Chapter Alumnae and Friends,

It is our pleasure to invite you to our chapters’ 45th Sapphire Anniversary Celebration for Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Theta Kappa Chapter and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Mu Delta Chapter. We have worked diligently to create a fun-filled weekend centered on the legacy we have built at Stony Brook University. This celebration will take place from Friday, April 25th to Sunday, April 27th, 2025.

Throughout the weekend, we are excited to commemorate the incredible journey we have shared as chapters. We will kick things off on Friday evening with a Game Night that promises friendly competition and plenty of laughs. On Saturday, the day starts with a tour of the campus which ends with a show-stopping Yard Show followed by a glamorous Gala, where we will honor the history and accomplishments of our chapters. During the Gala, we will also celebrate two remarkable individuals who played a pivotal role in laying the foundation for our legacy—Soror Robin Hunter-Buskey and Frater Warren Spencer.

To close out this unforgettable weekend, we will have a continental breakfast on Sunday around the Unity Rock, symbolizing the continued bond of sisterhood and brotherhood.

As part of our chapters' 45th Sapphire Anniversary Celebration, we are incorporating a meaningful service project which aligns with our commitment to service. In celebration of this milestone anniversary, we have partnered with Soror Zodelia Williams, founder of 3D's Aftercare Inc. to raise funds in support of empowering children through programs which promote higher self-esteem, a greater sense of self-worth and an understanding of responsibility.

We hope you will join us as we reflect on our past, celebrate our present, and look ahead to the future. Your presence will make this milestone celebration even more special.
