43rd ANNUAL GUAJOLOTE 10k RUN AND WALK

First 150 participants to register receive an event shirt and gift bag. Shirts not guaranteed on event day. Shirt sizes are not guaranteed and may not be exact, but we will do our very best to accommodate your requested size.
Events: 10K Run/Walk for all ages - Children 13 and under must have adult supervision with them on the course. This is a family friendly event so families are encouraged to participate together. Strollers are allowed on the course but should seed themselves at the back of the starting pack. For the safety of all participants, pets are not allowed on the event course. Exceptions for service animals will be made on a case by case basis.

Parking: free parking is available at the LISD Shirly Field parking lot.

10k Race Age Groups:
Male & Female Age Divisions
(14 - Under years), (15 - 19 Years), (20 - 24 Years), (25 - 29 Years), (30 - 34 Years), (35 - 39 Years), (40 - 44 Years), (45 - 49 Years), (50 - 54 Years), (55 - 59 years), (60 - 64 Years), (65 - 69 Years), (70 - Over).
Age group Awards are based on Chip Time, you do not have to seed yourself at the front!
Fees:
10k Runner - $25.00
1 Mile Walker - $25.00
Student (18 & under) Run/Walk - $15.00
Event day: $30 for all participants

All participants are automatically entered into the virtual raffle! Winners will be posted on our Facebook page after the event ends.
Snacks and refreshments will be served at the finish line.

Awards:
Run: Awards to the first overall male and female winners. Trophies to the top three finishers in each age category in both the men's and women's divisions. Trophies for all age divisions 1st, 2nd, 3rd. Run is chip timed.
Walk: Participants will receive a participant medal upon completion of event. Walk is not chip timed. Walkers will be issued a non-chip number. Walk is open division.
All participants will receive a participant medal.

There are scholarships available to high school juniors and seniors who have participated in the Guajolote 10k events at least twice to attend Laredo College.
