About this Event
Welcome to the 43rd Annual Freedom Fundraising Campaign and 106th Branch Anniversary Celebration! Join us at the USC Aiken Convocation Center for an evening filled with entertainment, food, and community spirit. This in-person event is a great opportunity to show your support and celebrate our Branch's long-standing commitment to freedom, equality, and justice. Don't miss out on this special occasion to come together and make a difference. See you there!
Our theme for 2024 is “All In.” To impact public policy, we must work together to continue to fight for equality and equity. Freedom Fundraising campaigns and anniversary celebrations are the primary fundraising and ceremonial events for NAACP Branches across the nation. We are asking for your support to continue to do the work to bring awareness to racial inequality and dismantle unjust policies in Aiken County and beyond. This year, our featured speaker is Rev. Shavon Arline-Bradley, President of the National Council of Negro Women. Additionally, she is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, The Links, Incorporated and Jack & Jill of America Incorporated. She is a dynamic speaker and will undoubtedly encourage all those in attendance to go all in for social justice, equity, and equality.
