Blood is drawn from your arm and a 12-HOUR FAST IS REQUIRED. Results are mailed to you within 4 weeks.

Please note that your RSVP to this event does not reserve a place in line for the blood draw. The blood profile is given on a first come, first serve basis - no appointments are scheduled.
Payment is by CASH OR CHECK ONLY. Please make checks payable to Grand Strand Medical Center (GSMC) for $30. Credit/Debit cards are not accepted. We cannot bill Medicare or any insurance company.
Remember to fast (do not eat) for 12 hours before having your blood drawn. We encourage you to hydrate well the day before and drink plenty of water during the fasting period. We recommend wearing a short-sleeve or loose fitting shirt to allow access to your forearm for the blood draw. We anticipate a large crowd and appreciate your patience.
