Back in the days when the club scene was booming in New Orleans, 4141 was one of the hottest clubs around. Who can forget the packed dance floor and pounding music, where locals rubbed shoulders with celebrities and the best bartenders served killer highballs at lightning speed...oh yeah, 4141 was in a league of its own!Al Paez was the original DJ at 4141 and became a force in the local music scene. In the mid 1970s, Al founded the New Orleans Disco Association and New Orleans Record Pool which provided thousands of vinyl records to DJs and clubs throughout the New Orleans region and along the Gulf Coast. He also reported to Billboard Magazine, spun records at world-famous Studio 54 in NYC, and had his own late-night music show on local radio. Al's love for music is second to none and his contribution to industry is huge.
