40 years for Class of 83! Wow! So let's get together to reminisce and have some fun. Classes 78-84 are also invited to attend. The more the merrier! Tickets $150. (If you get ticket through Eventbrite, you will have to pay their service fee and tax. )
August 4-6, 2023.
Here are the details:
Friday August 4- Check In 4pm at the Hollywood Beach Marriott. However, if we run out of rooms at the special rate, you can always get rooms at any of the hotels nearby. We have been announcing this reunion since October so rooms may have sold out already.
That evening, we walk (or uber) to Sunset Club Rooftop Bar and Lounge 7pm. https://www.sunsetclubrooftop.com
(Two drinks are included with your Reunion Package and a special area just for us.)
August 5 (day)- Two Beach chairs are included with your reservation so we plan to chill by the beach or by the pool. For those opting to do something else, I am looking into a Bay Cruise which departs pretty much down the street. Bicycles are also included in your reservation so a cruise down the boardwalk is also fun.
August 5 (night)- 7pm - 11pm Marriott Ballroom ...Miami Southridge Class of 83 40th Year Reunion. We are inviting all classess 78-84 as well to be our guests.
Ticket Price: $150 per person which includes Friday night Meet and Greet (two drinks included) and Saturday Night Dinner with wine and DJ included (cash bar).
The hotel has given us a great group rate of $169/night and has agreed to waive the daily parking charge of $30. Yay!
These rooms that are blocked are all ocean view! (These rooms during high season go for over $500 a night.)
I have booked this amazing weekend on my credit card. If you'd like to use a credit card, you can buy your ticket right here on Eventbrite ($7.63 fee plus tax). We have to cap it at 100 people so get your tickets early.
I will take Venmo also ($150). If you do it like that, you avoid the fees. Or mail a check. I will be very transparent with all expenditures.
