Please join us in celebrating the 40th reunion of the historic first-ever Olympic marathon trials that happened in Olympia, WA in 1984. Women who participated in those trials will be in Olympia celebrating each other and the wins that women in sports have achieved over the last 40 years. Public Schedule of Events:
Friday, May 17, 2024:
5:00 – 6:00 PM - Evening social before banquet: Open to the public and all attendees
6:00 – 9:00 PM - Reunion Celebration Banquet: Open to the public, press, dignitaries, sponsors, and special guests held at Indian Summer Country Club. Tickets available here: https://auctria.events/TLCBanquet

9:00 AM – Finish - Shakeout Run – Heritage Park to Marathon Park
11 AM - 3:30 PM - Panel discussions with athletes of the past and current athletes in the Olympia Ballroom. Hosted by Oly Road Runners: Details to be confirmed
12:00 – 5:00 PM - Capital City Marathon Running Expo: Sylvester Park* – Opportunity for Reunion attendees to meet and greet Capital City Marathon participants and general public. There will be a tent with tables for attendees to sign autographs on posters and books. Please see marathon website for details: https://www.capitalcitymarathon.org/

5:00 – 6:00 PM - Special informal program for reunion attendees and dignitaries at Marathon Park - the site of the 1984 Women’s Olympic Marathon Finish Line.
