About this Event
In this 40th Annual EWOCC, we set out to create a space to celebrate the interconnectedness of women of color across different stages of life, celebrating the rich tapestry of identities and cultures. We will reflect on the importance of community building, solidarity, and the evolution of identity while honoring the legacy of older generations. We will be featuring a keynote speaker, TBD, workshop presenters, a Q&A panelist session, as well as a catered lunch and light refreshments!

$1 of each ticket sale will go towards the payment of our Shuumi Land Tax. The Shuumi Land Tax is a voluntary annual contribution that non-Indigenous people living on the Confederated Villages of Lisjan’s territory can make to support the critical work of the Sogorea Te’ Land Trust.
The 2025 conference artwork is designed by Michelle Perez, an illustrator and designer based in Providence, Rhode Island. Growing up across coasts of the US, she bases her art in the stories she’s gathered along the way. You can find her work in the pages of The New York Times, The New Yorker, and The Boston Globe. You can find her wherever iced lattes are sold.
