The Northeast Michigan Arts Council opens the doors for its 40th annual auction slated for Saturday, April 12 @ 10 a.m. Sharp! at its Northeast Art Center in Standish (corner of Grove Street Rd. & US-23). The event will be called by auctioneer Richard Martin of Chesaning; admission is free and open to the public. Doors open at 9 a.m. to view merchandise that includes antique and vintage furniture to antique and collectible glassware; collector sports cards; lottery ticket gift baskets; collector dolls; fresh produce; gift baskets; gifts for our bird friends; decorative yard ornaments; a wide selection of new and nearly new household items; rounds of golf; gift certificates for local restaurants, merchandise and services from area businesses; plus many more items too numerous to mention.
