For whom am I bowling?You are bowling for children and youth (Littles) living in Washington County who are involved in or are waiting for a one-to-one mentoring relationship with a Big Brother/Sister. There are many children and youth in our community needing this friendship and guidance!
How are the proceeds used?
100% of the proceeds stay right here in our community and allow Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County to 1) continue supporting one-to-one mentoring relationships for Littles, 2) expand services to those children and youth waiting for a Big Brother/Sister and 3) support group activities held throughout the year.
You Should Know. . .
~$30 minimum pledge for each bowler, which includes a fountain drink or coffee and a Totally 80s Bowl for Kids’ Sake
t-shirt (guaranteed for those registered before 4/15/2024)
~You can collect donations from family members, friends, colleagues and neighbors in-person or online! We’ll provide you with some tools to help you with your fundraising.
~Tenpin and duckpin lanes are available
~One to six people on a team and as many teams as you like
~Bowling and shoes are FREE! (You must present your completed sponsor sheet the day of the event.)
~Dozens of door prizes
~The event runs from 11AM-3PM. You and your team decide on a time to bowl. Please schedule your one-hour time slot by emailing [email protected] or by calling 301.447.0028.
~This is our 40th annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake and it’s because of supporters like you that we’ve had so much success with this fundraiser over the years!
